If your "CLASSIC" is mostly garaged,
replacing your old metal heater control valve with this ABS plastic & nylon Valve is a good idea. Steel zinc
plated valves eventually will rust. Corrosion and rust can increase as protective coolant can also drain downward from
the heater system while your vehicle sits idle. Electrolysis can cause the most damage as the effect
of dissimilar metals such as aluminum, brass, copper, and cast iron electrically interact.
