Zinc coated Steel Valves eventually will rust inside, and more quickly when your "Classic" is mostly garaged. Replace that old metal heater control valve with this ABS Plastic/Nylon Valve.
Some owners remove the malfunctioning heater control
valve and have bypassed it entirely by hooking heater hoses directly to the heater core. This risks damage
to the core.

Here's what you are replacing
YIKES! YOU DON'T WANT THIS!! Corrosion! And it's tough to open and close
these old metal valves. (The lever on this one broke off trying to free it) This valve will probabably look familiar
when you pull your heater hoses and check the condition.
CORROSION CAN CAUSE 'EROSION'
Corrosion inside your valve means danger to your heater core, radiator, water pump, sensors and other parts of your cooling
system.

below the dash surface and run the cable through the firewall into the engine compartment to operate our Retrofit Valve.
